By the Way: It's Time to Stuff the Bus

UNITED WAY OF LEBANON COUNTY COLLECTING SCHOOL SUPPLIES FOR LOCAL CHILDREN   

United Way of Lebanon County is hosting annual Stuff the Bus school supply drive now through July 29.

Not being able to afford basic school supplies is a barrier for many children and youth in Lebanon County communities. The goal for the United Way’s Stuff the Bus annual school supply drive is to ensure that every child who needs them in every school district in the county has a new backpack and basic supplies to start the new school year.

2022 Community Impact Grants

United Way of Lebanon County has recently awarded twelve Community Impact Grants totaling over $150,000. The following programs were selected by United Way’s volunteer-led Impact Committee and approved for funding by the Board of Directors at their May meeting. These programs were selected because the work they do closely aligns with United Way of Lebanon County’s areas of focus to connect families to resources, break barriers to learning for our young students, and to make sure that all our children and families are set up for a strong start:

Family Stability Grants

Our family stability fund addresses critical, immediate needs in our community by connecting families to resources and programming that promotes family stability, provides opportunities for those who are unemployed and underemployed and supports programs that improve economic independence. 

As we continue to work together to emerge from this pandemic, supporting our local families is more important than ever. United Way has recently awarded the following grants, totaling $185,000, effective July 1, 2021:
