• Watch to learn how United Way is incorporating literacy and greater access to books for local kids into the 21st Annual Day of Caring volunteer day

Learning to read is essential, unfortunately not everyone gets the chance to
learn. Raising Readers in Story County is changing that. gag.gl/SqSRB6

Education is a priority for United Way.

We value early childhood education and recognize that the first five years of a child’s life are a time of enormous social, emotional, physical and intellectual growth. For children to grow into successful adults, they need a supportive and healthy early foundation.  The benefits of kindergarten readiness includes raising lifetime wages and reducing the likelihood that children will drop out of school.

We partner with programs like Luthercare to provide high quality early learning opportunities to the children of Lebanon County to give them a solid foundation of kindergarten readiness skills.

Access your school district’s Kindergarten registration information to put your child on a path to success!
